The friction meter enables the exact determination of the friction coefficient from 0.3 – 6 Nm on, e.g. differential, index, automatic and steering gears. Required for controlling and adjusting the bearing pretension, e.g. when disassembling or installing the cardan shaft flange after replacing the shaft seal ring or repair work on the gearbox. The drive is made via the 13 mm hexagon, the output via the 1/2″ square.
